This interactive episode designed for family physicians will explore the current guideline recommendations and clinical trial data for the appropriate management of patients with dyslipidemia. Using patient cases, the expert panel will review pharmacological approaches to lowering LDL-C, and will specifically address how to correctly individualize therapy for each particular patient. Various aspects of guideline translation into practice will be discussed. Comments and questions from the audience are strongly encouraged and will be addressed throughout the presentation.
